You have left me.
You have gone away.
Why oh why could you not stay?

You told me you loved me,
And you would never leave.
How could you lie to me?

We said we would be together forever,
Never dreaming that fate would tear us apart.
How could fate be so cruel?

Our time together was over
The day you lost your life to the sword.
Why was it you that died that day?

These are questions that I ponder
Each and every day, but my biggest question is,
Will I ever love another as I loved you?
