VERA FARMIGA as catlin



Vera Farmiga, a ucrainian from New Jersey, plays an independent, strong willed and fearless fighter named Catlin. Enslavement, abuse, rape and betrayal has turned this fragile, sensitive person into the woman she is today. With the help of Conor, the young Prince that had helped her gain her freedom, and her new found friends, she relearns how to trust, love and be loved.

Vera is as athletic and a natural at archery as Catlin. After a one hour archery lesson she went to Australia and hit the bull's eye within a centimeter at every try. She enjoys running and stated: "It's a great release for me..."

Vera also played soccer at Hunterdon Central High School. As it turned out, soccer ignited an interest in acting. Finding herself benched for a week, and not being able to sit still, she auditioned for a school play. She later attended Syracuse University. After graduating she went into theatre. Some of her stage credits includes roles in: The Tempest, Taking Sides, Nina, The Seagull, Second Hand Smoke, The Glass Menagerie, Good, Ophelia in Hamlet,and Julia in Two Gentlemen from Verona. Vera Farmiga has also appeared in the films: Stalker and the movie Rose Hill.
